The George Washington University Healthcare MBA program seeks candidates who have demonstrated potential for management, leadership, and who have the intellectual ability, maturity, initiative, and creativity to participate in this challenging environment. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited college or university or an equivalent academic credential from a recognized international university.
The Application Requirements
Professional Experience
- Statement of applicant's program objectives and professional goals,
- A resumé of professional experience,
- Three letters of reference from individuals who can discuss the applicant's professional experience.
Academic Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or an equivalent academic credential from a recognized international institution.
- A record of previous graduate-level coursework, when available.
- Official transcripts for all colleges/universities attended.
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) results. GMAT is waived for US Board Certified MDs. Proof of current certification is required.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination results — for those students who have earned their undergraduate degree outside of the US.

- Application Fee: $60 (waived for GW alumni and staff)
- Declaration of Intent Fee: $260
- Registration Fee: $35 (per semester)
- Technology Fee: $25 (per semester)
- Tuition: $1,150 per credit hour (Subject to change annually.)
- Total tuition for the program (excluding books and materials): $55,560
Total tuition is subject to annual increase.
